Guest guest
Dear Helen, Very briefly, for these 9 days Goddess Durga is worshipped. These four shloks are addressed to her in four forms: as mother; as Shakti [protector]; as Goddess Saraswati [goddess of wisdom]; and as Laxmi [goddess of wealth] In case you want to know more about it, then go to Google or Wikipedia. Sincerely, Priya , Helen Khajekian <helenkhaj wrote: > > Dear Mr.Priya, > > What is these four shloks for? What is benefit for person who recite these shloks? > > Thank you > > Sincerely > Helen > > --- On Wed, 9/16/09, Pandit < wrote: > > > Pandit < > Nav-Ratra : September 19th - 27th > > Wednesday, September 16, 2009, 11:42 PM > > > > > > > > Dear members, > Recite these four shlok every day during the Nav-Ratra. > You can recite them as many times as convenient. > > Ya Devi Sarva Bhutesu Maa rupena samsthita > Namestasyai, Namestasyai, Namestasyai, Namo Namah > > Ya Devi Sarva Bhutesu Shakti rupena samsthita > Namestasyai, Namestasyai, Namestasyai, Namo Namah > > Ya Devi Sarva Bhutesu Buddhi rupena samsthita > Namestasyai, Namestasyai, Namestasyai, Namo Namah > > Ya Devi Sarva Bhutesu Laxmi rupena samsthita > Namestasyai, Namestasyai, Namestasyai, Namo Namah > > Maa Durga bless you all > > Bhooshan Priya > > >
