He is going through the years of Rahu. Therefore:

 

[a] Make him wear a small square piece of silver in a white silk thread.

Keep dipped in water a small piece of silver cut out of any silver ornament

worn by your wife [his mother]. make the child drink that water a few times

every day.

[c] Keep in his room a copper coin [without a hole] dipped in rain water in a

brass container with a lid.
