Dear le,

 

[1] If you like you can offer a little milk at any temple on Somvati Amavasya.

[2] Normally a trapan is to be done either at a sea shore or a river bank. If

you like you can take a little water in your hands and offer to the departed

sould individually, praying for their moksha.

[3]There is no harm if you want to give food for distribution amongst the needy.

[4] There is no particular upaya as such to be done on this amavasya.

[5]Let her do the pooja. It is not going to adversely affect you. In case you

fear any adverse results, then you apply Hanuman sindoor between your eye brows

or all those days she is doing the pooja. The Hanuman sindoor will act as a

kavach protecting you from any evil spell.

[6] There will be no harm in getting the money from the sale of your property.

You should have your share and keep it for your future.
