Dear kanika,

 

You should consult the purohit who will be conducting the ceremony. As far as

the Lal Kitab is concerned, it is advised that food items made from Milk and

rice like kheer etc should be necessarily served during such ceremonies.

 

Secondly, very important : do not forget to remember your Kul Devta or Kul Devi

on such occasions.
