[2] Ask some local pundit, one who presides over poojas etc, what you should do to appease the departed soul. I can suggest that you feed some elderly ladies in the name of your mother in law. Amongst the food items, kheer should be there. [3] It would be better if it is applied in your name. [4] The Varsh phal upaya for your daughter can be suggested only if she is more than 12 years old. I would not have suggested any thing for her unless I had her birth details. Since I do not have her birth details in my records, I believe I may not have suggested any thing. DOB 26th dec 2004, california (USA) time 10.57pm shreeya sharma.Dear kanika, [ 1 ] Since the California time during winter is 13hrs 30 mts behind Indian time, therefore according to the Indian time she was born on the 27th afternoon at 0:27 PM. Therefore It is upto you which date you want to celeberate her birthday in India. [ 2 ] She will enter her 5th year and her health could be threatened by Mars during this year. Therefore : Offer at a Hanuman temple a copper lota filled with rice + a red flower + lal chandan. Paste the lota also red with the lal chandan before offering it at the temple. Make her touch the lota before offering. [ 3 ] Yes, you must continue doing the Hanuman sindoor upaya for one more year at least because the Mars threatens her health. Just celebrate her birthday as normal. You can feed young kanyas [ girls below 10 years] on her birthday.
