Dear Karma Yogi,

 

[1] How many lamps should be lit is a matter of tradition. If you live in an

area where the tradition is to light 9 lamps you should follow that.

 

[2] Chhaya dan is a symbolic gesture of transmitting the ill effects, which ever

they might be, into the oil.

 

[3]Sure, saturn could be a cause of anxiety because it is placed in the rasi

[kark] of Moon.

 

[4] Once again the tradition. Go by the local tradition.
