Dear Kiran ji,

Upaya are not suggested for a child till he gets 12 years old.

In the case of your grand daughter I have gone through her horoscope for

Bal-Arishta.

She has a mild Bal-Arishta, nothing serious. Therefore you should :

[1] Once every year till she is 12 years old, her mother should offer at a

Hanuman temple some sweets on her behalf.

[2] Once every year, on a different day then the day offering sweets upaya, her

mother should offer a little makkhan [ butter] at any temple till she gets 12.

[3] Make the child wear a yellow silk thread round her neck.

The reply should be posted at the beginning of the string and not at the end of

the string.

Sincerely,

Priya
