I have heard that there is another Aaditya hridayam which is written by Maarkandeya Muni. Do you have any idea about it. If yes, can you please upload a PDF file of that in your file section. > > In fact wherever I find this Aaditya Hridayam, I find only this Agastya Mui's Aaditya hridayam, not the Maarkandeya one. Guest guest
Thanks Priya Ji But this Aaditya Hridayam is when Yaagyavalkya Ji prayed Soorya Dev to give him knowledge and then Soorya Dev gave him the Krishn Yajur Ved. It goes like this, I have found it written in Roman English, but its PDF file is not available and as you know you are not sure of of correct pronunciation in English transliteration -- " Om Srimad Aditya kavacha stotra maha manthrasya Yaaagyavalkyo maharishi, Cha anushtup jagadhi chandamsi grunirithi bheejam soorya ithi shakthi, cha Aditya ithi keelakam, Sri Soorya narayana preethyarthe Jape viniyoga. Udayachala magathya veda roopa mana mayam, Thushtava paraya bhakthya valakilyadhibhir vrutham. " If you get it somewhere in PDF file plese let me know. Thanks Sushma , " Pandit Bhooshan Priya " < wrote: > > Dear Sushma ji, > > I am not aware of Aditya Hridayam by Markandeya.
