Astrology is a divine subject and its grace is the key, knowledge is the tool

there r times when we don't have a tool but some how manage to do the task on

had a simple example will be a key to the door if lost we may find many other

ways of entering the place with or without breaking the door.

 

Here most of the points raised by Pt arjun ji can be done if ones knowledge is

blessed by Almighty and the quuerients karma warrents a human intervention in

know before of a event that is if his karma is maliable if frozen no one can

make any difference to him/her

 

the good old day astrologers did a lot of predictions in the ine pt arjung said

not possible but as said one depth in knowledge and a humble life style and

noble mind can work its magic as in those days the rulers or local wealthy

people supported knowledgeable people, doctors, priests, poets, arttists etc....

today all have to eke out aliving on theiir own so the edge suffers in all of

the branches said do we find good artis now now just glamour/sex appeal do we

find a good poet who can inspite a few people leave alone a revoultion like the

french or Indian indipendence did NO.

 

can we find doctors who say don't worry on my fees get well, its gods grace not

mine etc no he will say this is my fees if u can afford I cantreat u else go to

the govt hospital, there free service no free of care but not free from

corruption greets u , where is the Vaido Narayana hari hee! doctor is the lord

himself] he pays to get a seat heavily and takes yrs to pursue it into some

specality when engineers accountants r busy building a property a good asset

base they r still studying....

 

back to the point works like Brihat Jataka can guide u to a Yaoni janma-tree,

stone, animal

 

like wise prasna and Jataka can tell u if a person is dead or alive i f we have

applied the necessary knowledge with gods grace quite often we ignore the -ve

points in a chart and want to please or wish away the bad sid and make a

mistake, we must judge if the person or someone from his side can face the e

facts pl present it to them, if this happens consistantly we can find answers to

them. else will miss a big chunk of data to work with.

 

one of the many predictions I heard as a child that impressed me with astrologys

depth is my maternal uncle who was given his maternal uncles 1st daughter as a

bride her father was an astrologer too

 

but my uncles family astrologer after seeing boththe charts said it is a fake

one on their face if true I will cook in ur house for 20 yrs

 

he said my uncles chart shows a son in a yrs time and her charts shows none

she died in 3 months of marriage , marriage not even consumated

he remarried her sister and had a son in the said time frame

 

why it happened the aunts father said he wanted his daughter to die a Suhagan so

fudged it. is this what an astrologer should do?

but before I forget let me say PVN ji almost got it right only the direction was

wrong he said after Sept the wind will  come Macains way but it happend

oppositely due to the GEC only and it was deciessive

which one must anticipate too. but not a prediction to dame him he is too good

for anyone of us.

dear friend

 

albeit your mail is addressed to raghunatharao garu, am responding

since your concern is about scepticism on the application of

astrology in general.

 

as you rightly observed in the concluding in the last line, birth and

death are two things which are known only to god and astrologers are

not supposed to predict the death. some time ago, a renowned

astrologer predicted his own death date but committed suicide before

that ostensibly to make his prediction come true. hence i preach and

practice that birth and death are in the hands of god since it is the

god (soul) which enters or leaves the body.

 

just by seeing the birth details and casting a horoscope and even

getting aided by a prashna chart too, astrology cannot predict

whether the details are that of a dead or living chart. similarly,

the gender is also not predictable from the chart. some astrologers

have come with few techniques and formulaes to find out living or

dead and male or female chart but none are accurate with lots of hits

and misses. a couple of years ago, one poster presented birth

details of a native but did not reveal that it was that of his pet

dog which astrologers cannot predict as it is not told beforehand.

 

it is also my experience and belief that astrology cannot predict the

results of elections, cricket or rugby or football or tennis or

baseball or chess or racing championships. even when it is plain

simple fifty fifty equal chance of taking a risk of predicting this

or that, you dont find astrology principles working in these

matches. similarly you cannot predict stockmarkets, horseraces,

lottery and gambling. suppose i play " andar bahar " game of playing

cards which is very easy to predict with fifty percent chance of

winning, astrology cannot predict whether the card comes in or out.

 

so, my humble advise to you is that astrology must be meant to use in

the way it is desired to be used. it is also my personal belief and

practice that we shall not cast charts of those people who have not

asked us or approached us.

 

above all, besides astrology, you are aware of the karma theory,

blessings and curses, freewill, evil prayoga etc. driving the future

any which way and hence natives cannot purely blame astrology for

wrong predictions.

 

your lamenting about people laughing at astrology is understandable

because many new astrology branches like financial astrology are

invented. already analysts have become jokers as they daily give

three upward targets and three downward targets and they themselves

are not sure of up or down, plain simple fifty fifty prediction.

adding to these analysts, financial astrologers are now predicting

the stock market movements.
