Tamasic Energy of a Gem Stone ?

Dear All,

 

A question just popped up into my mind this morning and thought maybe

some of the learned here can give some insights into this.

 

Do gems have the power or the tendency to increase tamasic energy in

the body if the graha associated with that gem itself its tamasic ?

 

For eg , I have Mars as my Lagnesha , so it becomes outmost important

for me to wear a Red Coral , however Mangal also is a Tamasic graha ,

so when I wear a Red Coral wouldnt the gemstone also increase tamasic

energy in my body ? since the gemstone is a concentrate form of the

graha's innate energy ?

 

If this is the case , then why would anybody wear a gemstone of

tamasic grahas ? neelam for example ... specially if people like me

who do spritual practices and are always trying to cultivate sattwic

energy.

 

Also wouldnt wearing A diamond or an Emerald make a person more

rajasic , since Venus and Budh are themselves rajasic ... Diamond in

this case , wouldnt it increase the desire in a person which wouldnt

be the effect some one spiritual would want , even though if their

chart compels them to wear a diamond ....
