then why calculate Varshaphal and Tithi pravesha charts from birthplace

residence ?

 

im born in calcutta , living im mumbai as of now ...

Tithi is the difference teween the position of the Moon and the Asc.  So this

must be taken from place  of present . Tbe birth thithi will be from place of

birth

Dear Sridhar,

 

Tithi is really the SOLI-LUNAR difference at a given epoch! Neither

of which, unless you are *given* hopefully for a good reason to the

parallax corrected geotopical school of lunar longitudes, are really

geotopical and hence not tied to the place of birth!
