Keeping idols in puja place- direction pl

Respected Gurus and learned members,

I appreicate if you kindly let me know the direction where puja place with idols

should be kept. Currently, I have kept my puja place with photos in east that

means idols are facing west direction.

 

Is it correct or I have make some other arrangements.

Facing the god photos should see either west Or north.

We have to face towards either east or north only.

dear sir. The advise is to face east while doing Pooja. So the Idols must be in

West facing East. The only inacceptable place is South facing by you
