In son chart we have moon in makara rasi and saturn (retrograde) in kataka rasi. My son marriage is getting delayed. Since saturn is in 7th house from moon and we have parivarthana does this mean a delay in marriage? What other effects does this have? I have read in various forms that saturn in 7th indicates delay in marriage but I am not sure if 7th from Lagna OR 7th from rasi needs to be seen? Please guide me. If there is Jupiter in Lagna then it can bring the issue of unmada yoga and person has problems with emotional life but ends up very good finally. If Shani is in seventh from Moon and afflicted then it shows lack of support from the family for marriage, usually the fasting on the day of Upapada changes the situation for the better. Its common opinion that Shani in seventh delays marriage, but its not true. Mangal can delay marriage as it forms kuja dosha and can bring bestiality in the match but Shani being the good friend of shukra can bring the early marriage! as told by Prashna marga - this is also used in Prashna. So if there is delay there must be some other factor.
