Happy in my little borrow

Geese south bound in a row

Days are becoming narrow

Cold creeping into my marrow

But I am without any sorrow

Snow from Harrow to Barrow

I am happy for small pleasures

that my world is full of sounds

enjoying my days of leisure

my joy knowing no bounds

thanks that my eyes can see sculptures

grateful that my body is free of any wounds

that I can enjoy the bounty of nature

thankful that I can smell fragrant odours

ecstatic that I can feel the gentle breeze

How happy I am to be surrounded by friends.
