Modern Astronomy is calculating both Mean and true Nodes, as true nodes are required to predict eclipses in a very precise manner. I may suggest that you may obtain a disc from positional astronomical centre Kolkata or Paris and study their basis of calculations. I am sure you may be in a better position to guide us.
