Guest guest
Munisevitham jee, Not sure why this message was specifically addressed to me in the header? I wish you had posted it in the appropriate thread or given a quote to which you were replying to directly, but we will address it generally. My personal view is that neither Karma nor God should be considered as entities or phenomena separate from ourselves but integral part of us, even as individuals and certainly too as collective units of couple, family, community, nationality, religious groups, and yes even the entire world community and perhaps beyond (those who believe in angels and guardian angels etc). The 'schism' pain and loneliness and anxiety and panic begins when we begin to forget that we are the creators of our karma and it is not a monster that is separate and ready to pounce upon us and claim 'revenge'. God, likewise, is not external or even internal to us but integral! We cannot separate ourselves from the feeling of I, of our karma and our God-self. We may choose to ignore or hide from those from time to time but the 'backlog' of actions that we carry on our metaphorical back does not vanish when we pretend to be ostrichs with our heads buried in the sands of TIME. Since simplistically stated 'karma' is about paying back what was due and was our responsibility, the more the upaayes are pentitential in nature (penances) the more effective in the long range they would be. Hence measures that put us into long periods of self-awareness (mantra jaap, puja, fasting, volunteer and selfless service) if performed from the 'god-place' in our souls may indeed be more effective than certain other measures.
