My friends experience with Karve's daughter - Guru Sanjay Rath Ji, your opinion

Hello Friends,

One of my friend has contacted Pinky Karve (Daughter of Yogi Karve)

for birth time correction. She talked to him over the phone and asked

him to look at his chart and answer the questions:

1) What's in the lagna(sign)

2) Planets in each and every house, like second house and so on...

3) Degree of the Sun

After this she told him, Year/month/date of birth and asked him if the

time is in within the range of couple hours, he said yes and mentioned

the time on his chart to her. Then she corrected that time with few

minutes.

After hearing this story from him, it was hard for me to believe that

she revealed this date/time of birth with any psychic powers. By

knowing the degrees of Sun and slow moving planets in different

houses(signs), isn't is possible to reveal such details?

A few days ago, I read a message quoted on some jyotish forum about

an article that Sanjay Rath wrote on the topic of Jupiter entering

Capricorn and in acceleration! Have you read it?

What more do you want him to say?

Dear Abhinav,

Yes this is some kind of " Siddhi " which Yogi Karve got, by which he

can tell birthdate & birthtime by looking at a person only. There is

nothing to be surprised about it. However, there were times, when Yogi

Karve failed & gave incorrect data.

The more you focus on these stuff, the more you become dependent on

all these.

Thank you very much. Does his daughter has this psychic ability too?

I am never dependent on such things, but I would like to clarify if

Pinky Karve used any psychic powers or if it was any planetary

calculation used to derive the date and time of birth.

Abhinav,

Assuming ofcourse that this is a sincere quest on your part and not

something else, what with jupiter neecha and bheeta etc. it is best

to go with facts and information in such matter and some research

would be useful.

Early to mid-90s is when Yogi Karve phenomena was noticed in North

America.

Goravani wrote an article about Yogi Karve (from Poona and then

Bombay I believe)

Yogi Karve and Mr. KN Rao were invited to visit Arsha Vidya Gurukulam

in Saylorsburg, PA, USA by two gentlemen Nandan Chirmulay and Rakesh

Sharma as part of their attempt to revive the east coast Jyotish

scene (The western Jyotish American Vedic College of Astrology (?)

was coming up at the same time). The Yogi and Mr. Rao visited a few

times but then Mr. Rao stopped coming to these US visits. I think PVR

conducted his classes and tutorials at the ensuing conferences in

those conferences for a few years afterwards so he would know better

the details.

Before you arrive at any conclusions, one way or another, approach

the people who have actually met and interacted with these people

before judging their abilities and not just from one single case!

Lest you are mistaken, I was offered an opportunity by one of the

hostesses of Mr. Karve to call him and get a reading etc. That would

have meant that I would be taking up someone else's spot -- that was

unacceptable and felt selfish so I declined. Hence I am requesting

you to find facts from those who have met and experienced the Karves

directly and not through hearsay!

I have had several experiences with Karveji and here is what he shared with

me. His calculations are based on Dhruv tara (don't know much more then that

- perhaps some of our learned scholars can shed some light on that). But

before he applies the math based on Dhruv tara he somehow comes with a

number in his head. This is the part that is some sort of Siddhi. You may

call it a psychic power which we don't yet understand. He is amazingly

accurate when the subject is " open " and " unemotional " . I have seen him

struggle with a couple friend of mine that were emotionally unsettled and

fighting in his presence.

I know that his son has similar powers and it would not be surprising if his

daughter Pinky has inherited the " Siddhi " also and with the Dhruv tara math

she is able to give correct birth time. My experince is based him correcting

or validating at least 10 horoscopes within my family.

He is one of the few completely unassuming and most humble person you will

ever meet.
