My deepest respect and best wishes to the many great gurus posting

to this group. In particular, I am overwhelmed by the great

knowledge of Pandit Sanjay Rath (all of whose books I have

purchased) and PVR Narasimha Rao. As it turns out, I too graduated

from IIT Madras (1985), left for the US for higher education in

1986 and became a US citizen in 1997. I now live in Singapore.

A certain incredible incident in my life caused me to take a great

interest in Vedic Astrology. After reading BPHS and other books, I

was greatly enlightened by the COVA, Jaimini Sutras, Narayana Dasa,

etc. of Pandit Sanjay Rath and Integrated Approach to Vedic

Astrology by PVR Narasimha. I seek enlightenment on the following 2

questions:

1) In Narayana Dasa when the Dasa Rasi starts from 7th from lagna,

then it would appear that we should use the 7th from all subsequent

dasa rasi's as lagna for our analysis. However, there appears to be

some confusion here. PVR is clear in his book on this. However,

others appear to use dasa rasi itself as lagna (even when the

starting dasa rasi was 7th from lagna). Which is the right approach?

2) Please advise whether Rahu or Saturn is the lord of Aquarius for

Aquarius Narayana Dasa

Lagna is Cancer.

Leo contains Rahu (AK) and Venus (AmK)

Virgo contains Moon (BK) and Sun (MK)

Libra contains Mer (PiK) and Mars (PK)

Capricorn contains Ju (GK) and Sat (DK). Saturn is Vargottama in D-9.

Aquarius contains Ke. HL is Taurus, GL is Libra and ShreeLagna is

Cancer.

My sincerest thanks to all the brilliant minds in this group.

Om Namo Bhagavate Vasudevaya. Om Namo Narayanaya Namaha.

Somnath
