Namaste,

The assumed relationship between the first and second wife may help us to

identify the relevant  Bhava.For e.g.to look for ones younger or elder

brother,we see 3rd and 11th houses respectively from ones lagna / upapada

lagna.Similarly to look for second wife we may consider seeing the 3rd house

from 7th house i.e.9th house from lagna or UL.

Dear Sri Sathyanarayana Gupta,

I give below some of the Planetary Positions conducive to multiple marriage in a

Male Horoscope:

1.  When strong Moon and Venus are joined together, the native marries more than

once.

2.  If Venus, strong in horoscope, fully to aspect the seventh house, the native

marries more than once;

3.  The native will marry more than once, when the Lords of second and twelfth

houses from Lagna  occupy the third house, in aspect with either Jupiter or Lord

of the ninth house;

4.  When the Lords of Seventh and Eleventh houses, being strong occupy the fifth

or ninth house;

5.  When Lords of Seventh house and Eleventh house combine in the same sign or

aspect of each other;

6.  If Saturn as Lord of Seventh House, is joined with a malefic Planet, the

above results will happen;

7.  If the Seventh House from Lagna is occupied by a number of strong

Planets, in aspect  by the Lord of Seventh House, it is stated that as many

marriages ( or relationship culminating married life) could occur, as the number

of strong Planets in the Seventh House,

8.  If the number of Planets possessing good strength occupy the Eighth house,

the results as in item 7 above will happen.

Please note:  'marriage' is  ritually accepted 'relationship'.  The above also

points out 'relationships' of all kinds to build families by the native.

Gupta ji,

I have also heard of some people recommending the use of the 8th house from a

given house (or planet) to represent the '2nd' or replacement. So the 2nd house

in this context or the 8th from a relevant factor (L7, venus, DK, upapada etc)

Namaste,

Yes,Sir,I agree to your point,these alternatives too signify second wife - I

presume this concept is evolved from the principle that 8th house to any given

house signifies qualifying improvements to the former.

 'All  roads lead to Rome' this is literally true even in the case of

Astrological delineations too.

The 2nd wife is treated as a sister of the 1st. So the 3rd from 7th is taken as

second wife
