It is a Marka planet and placed in marka-7H-.It is also aspected by both Sat. and Rahu.Mercury is also Lord of 64th navamsa. Next dasa is of Ketu which is also not helpfull. Yes,Sir, Mercury is marak for Simha lagna and being placed in Marak sthanam 7th house,there are likelihood of inflecting Gantam but however the native is under Guru AD in Mercury MD - Guru is pOthaka,it is in lagna kendra ,obsolves all birth evils,it shall in no way cause death - this is my opinion. Further ,I think that the boy is not Ganta mula birth as still 16.30 hours to go from the birth time and also the boy's birth is not in nakshtra gandanta .The boy was born in jyeshtha nakshtra, the birth time falls in the 3rd segment of the nakshtra parimana in a ten point scheme,which segment is bhadka to meternal uncle,in the present case the boy has no meternal uncle.. As you have said,the parents of the boy are pondering over for Deva phalam and are only working in that direction. I strongly feel, " Om Korakkar sidda gurubhiho namah " by parents and self will show him a way. If possible they can visit a place in Tamilnadu, Annanperumal Kovil near Chidambaram/Vaitheswarn koil, is preferable before any surgery.
