Guru's tell me about astotari and vismottari dasha?

Dear Guruji's,

 

Can some one tell me the difference between astottari and vismottari dasha ?

Recently i was in india and one of astrologer told me that you have to see the

current and future stars using vismottari dasha as human does not leave more

then 100 years..

 

He gave me the dashas as under.

 

Current running dasa is of moon (chandra ) = 15 years

Mars (Mangal ) = 7 years

Mercury (Budh) = 10 years

Rahu = 18 years

 

Is this corrent my DOB details are as under:

DOB: 10th Dec 1978

TOB: 5:30 PM

POB: Bhavnagar-Gujarat India

 

Do let me know i have a doubt after mars complets rahu dasha starts ?

Dear Tweety ,

 

Ashtottari have condition to use for the chart and Ketu yoga shows what

is the purpose of birth, whilst Tithi-Ashtottari can be used in all

charts just like Vimshottari dasa.

 

For Vimshottari we have three variations, Lagna, Moon and fifth star. In

your chart Lagna is strongest so Lagna-Vimshottari will show most

accurately what is going in your life,

note that it demands strong accuracy of birthtime which can be done by

rectification up to D60 chart (shastyamsa).

 

 

So I would use Narayana dasa for your chart till rectification. Then you

are in period of Vi-Le-Li (Kanya-Simha-Thula).
