Guest guest
dear friends this year, the annual amarnath yatra is allowed by the government from 7th june to 5th august. for those who are not aware of these dates etc., they may be known that the amarnath caveshrine in the kashmir valley gets submerged under snow during winter and when the snow melts during summer, it becomes possible for the trekkers to trek through many ice clad mountains spending time at a height of nearly 15000 feet and pass through icy glaciers to reach the cave where a naturally formed shivling of ice is found inside the cave. while there are two paths to reach this amarnath cave shrine through the more famous pahalgam route (though long) through which one can have darshan of seshnag, the other path through baltal (very short) is preferred by those who cannot trek, for the distance is very small and to and fro trekking from baltal to the amarnath cave and back to baltal can be completed between a morning and an evening.furthermore, there are two helicopters running continuously from morning to evening from baltal to the cave which hardly takes 7 minutes. registration for the yatra begins from 20th may at all branches of jammu and kashmir bank or can be done easily through their website www.jkbank.com with best wishes and blessings pandit arjun www.rudraksharemedy.com
