I follow traditional mathematical model in astrology which shows better astrological results (Click_Here & Here ). Both of them also follow traditional model of astrology.How you could be different to both of them.It means they dont follow traditional model. They studied Jyotisha from different angles or studied different fields of Jyotisha, and did not fight among themselves, which proves that the early Vedic-Puranic tradition was vast in scope but monolithic in vision. Little has survived in our age, and whatever has survived is mixed with interpolations. It has given rise to diverse methods in our age which try to unearth and study Vedic astrology in their own ways. Modern Vedic Astrology (VA) is not as vast as the ancient VA and is not monolithic. Many non -Vedic items have intruded, which is often difficult to recognize and prove. Since ancient times, the planets of Jyotisha were believed to be deities. Rishis did not use observatories and instruments, they got revealed knowledge through Tapasyaa. It is foolish to imagine that the complicated rules of BPHS could be invented by any common man through scientific experimentation and observation. Now, times have changed. Almost everyone believes in the material world, which was Maayaa for our ancestors. Now your second question. PVR is open minded in the sense that he is tolerant of those methods which differ from his, and is open to experimentation. Why you imagine PVR or VJ or any mortal is omniscient and foolproof ? Who gave you the reference about " Gauri Tantra " in Rudrayamala Tantra ?There is no chapter titled " Gauri Tantra " in Rudrayamala . There are many chapters with similar titles like Devi Saadhanam, Kaali Stavana, Kula Devi Poojanam, Kaakini / Haakini / Shaakini, etc in Rudrayamala Tantra. I put the result of 18 charts in this forum, and gave some details of only the aircraft take-off chart, amd some points from Annual (1) , Nakshatra(4), and half-diurnal charts(12). Do you know discussing all these 18 charts will run into hundreds of pages which no one will read ? Please read BPHS, esp its initial chapters, and try to read some good simplified books, eg, BV Raman's, about interpretation of horoscopes. This analysis is based on reults of 18 charts, most of which are mundane charts based on little known techniques of ancient Yaamala Tantra texts which I am trying to bring into open.
