I had discussed with my HR and I have asked for two months notice as legally I have to give a minimum 4 weeks notice in UK. I am recieved my Permanent Residency or Indefinite Leave to Remain on the 22nd July. I have asked my company to give me 8 weeks and that i will leave 8 weeks from 1st July which leaves me as end of August 09. However I am amazed by your prediction of 58 days . However I am concerned due to the market conditions If I would get another Permanent Job or Contracting? My financial situation has been deteriorating. It would good to know what i need to take precautions in future to ensure I have a smoother work situations. I have been put into a improvement programme for lact of communication, however I see that the company does not have plans for perm TMs as supplier services are expected to do this and save further cost for Test Managers. I also want to perform a process oriented job like 6 sigma and Lean technologies, however UK companies do not follow the way how its in USA. ...and many other reasons so I was asked to go formal in the improvement programme and potentiall take a demotion if this are not as per my manager's expectations.
