2 New Jaimini Manuscripts Uploaded - Saptarishis Astrology

On this auspicious occasion of Guru Poornima, pls find 2 new manuscripts

of Jaimini Sutras commentary that were hitherto unavailable. These have

been uploaded due to the kindness of Mr Ravindra Bhagavat. The

We request Jaimini Astrology scholars especially who know Sanskrit to

kindly translate the above two commentaries and get it published

anywhere for the benefit of jyotishis. As told to us the Venkatesh

Vyakhya (commentary) contains when & how to use 7 charakaraka in 8

planets scheme (not 7), why Rahu cannot be Atmakaraka, a fact not known

to us today. Most important is when any shastra is taught the Guru (if

from a parampara) needs to quote the various ancient commentaries on

that subject along with the shloka as per tradition, this practice has

been followed since time immemorial in India and now it is extinct and

hence degradation of shastra and as a result Dharma happens.

 

 

 

This particular manuscript was given to a famous Jaimini astrologer

ParamGuru from a parampara in front of us in Jan 2005 at a jyotish

conference but inspite of 4 years passing by not a single page has come

from his kind self, maybe he got busy & blame cannot be put on one

single person for not coming out with the translation, we all must come

together and do a joint effort, so we request all jaimini astrology

lovers to come forward and get it translated otherwise the state of

Jaimini astrology will continue to remain in darkness and only

misguidance to clients and self will be achieved. Let us leave something

meaningful to read for our future births as astrologers.
