Guest guest
Respected Pathiji, Pranam. What about the presence of Ketu in 5 th house? I ve seen many horoscopes with 5 th house kethu, who are childless. I do not have any of these combinations. So far no astrologer seeing my horoscope has told me that i would nt be having a child. My details are: TOB: 9:30 pm, POB: Chennai DOB 28 Sep 1962. When i had earlier raised this in the forum, I was told that this year i have a chance. But i m already 45 +. I also give my husband's details. TOB: 11:10 pm, POB: Mumbai DOB: 26 Feb 1965. I strongly believe in astrology and yet this is something that i dont understand. This is the reason i m raising this query again Vijayalakshmi S

This is what I found, using only >A catergory data as per Rodden grading. 1690 out of 19769 human horoscopes had ketu in fifth house (8.55%) 23 out of 250 horoscopes of childless persons had ketu in fifth house (9.2%) Regards, Rohiniranjan vedic astrology , vijayalakshmi S <viji_r1 wrote: > > > Respected Pathiji, > > Pranam. > > What about the presence of Ketu in 5 th house? Guest guest
Dear Srimathi Vijayalaxmi ji, I have the pleasure of seeing your mail, specifically addressed to me, in the 'forum'. Before I could study your mail, Many stalwarts and intellectual astrologers in the group were extremely kind to jump in to the 'subject' to list details to solve your request. I am not that learned and professed as they are. I avoid to get into the 'cross fire' as my knowledge is 'poor'. Normally, I do not get into the 'request' when such 'greats' are attending a member, though the mail was addressed with a 'request' to me in the 'forum'. The 'end product', we all aim at, is for one to be 'satisfied' with a reply, and it should emanate from one who is 'well versed' in the subject. I admit that they are. I beg of you to excuse me. Blessings. Guest guest
Yoga for childlessness Dear Madam, Let me give some inputs from Ashtakavarga considerations. We have to see (1) The lord of the house occupied by Jupiter (2) The 5th house from Lagna (3) The 5th house from Jupiter. (1) The lord of the house occupied by Jupiter is Saturn, posited in 12th from Jupiter in retrogression in its own sign (losing power therefore) conjoining Ketu and receiving the aspect of Mars which is in conjunction with Gulika and Mandi. This combination is not favourable for the survival of kids. This lord (Saturn) is with 4 ashtaka varga bindus in Jupiter BAV which is not auspicious. The donating planets are Mars (malefic), mercury (powerless because gone retro in its sign of exaltation and is a malefic due to association with amavasya sun- moon) and Moon which is locked with Sun. Contribution of bindus by malefics shows nil prospects for progeny. (2) The 5th house from lagna is owned by Mercury who loses power in retrogression in his exalted sign. The sign is aspected by Rahu and Mars in company of Gulika and Mandi. In ashtaka varga, this sign has 5 bindus in Jup BAV contributed by Mars, sun, mer and Jupiter. Except Jup, others (malefics ) don’t help in progeny. Here again Jup is the constellation of Rahu. Jupiter is in the sign having only 4 bindus in its BAV. Again a weak situation. (3) The 5th house from Jupiter has 6 points which is good. But its lord Mercury is afflicted (explained above) and the sign is occupied by Mars, Gulika and Mandi. The bindu-contributing planets are 4 malefics (sun, mer, sat and mars) and Venus. Venus is in its own sign in Vishaka, which is 9th from Jupiter. But Venus is afflicted by Saturn!! In saptamsa the 5th lord also happens to be Venus in exaltation but afflicted by sat, rahu, ketu, mer and Mars. The 5th sign is occupied by the blinding sun and moon while the kaarak, Jup is 12th to the 5th. No one planet is helpful in sapthamsa.. The prospects are bleak…. Your husband’s horoscope. (1) Mars is the lord of the sign occupied by Jup. It is in a sign having just 4 bindus aspected by malefics. Among the contributing planets, only Moon can help. Moon is in the constellation of Venus which is ill-aspected in rasi and sapthamsa. (2) The 5th from lagna (Aquarius) has 5 bindus but the sign is afflicted. Except Jup, other contributing planets are malefics. (3) The 5th from Jupiter is Leo occupied by Mars with 4 bindus which is inadequate. In sashtiyamsa that sign happens to be the 12th receiving afflictions. The indications are bleak here too, but with an exception. Sun, one of the contributing planets for the AV bindus of the 5th house from Jupiter (BAV) is in the rasi and Navamsa of Saturn. This means the native will adopt a child as per Ashtakavarga rules. (‘Ashtaka varga system of prediction’ by BV Raman, page 74) In your horoscope too, the indication is for adoption of a girl baby. The kaarak (jup) is in between Saturn and Gulika. The 5th from Jupiter is also in between Saturn and Gulika. These are indicative of adoption. Of the 6 bindus contributed to the 5th sign from Jupiter, only that of Venus is benefic. Venus in Vishaka and in its own sign and receiving aspect from Jupiter in both rasi and Navamsa – in addition to Venus occupying the sign of Jupiter in sapthamsa shows the adoption of a female child.
