Some pointers from Planets in birth charts for Professional Prospects:

 

As most will know that the 10th house from Lagna in a Birth Chart indicates

Professional Prospects in a person’s life.  Added up, 2nd and 6th House

represents the temporal status to get honor, credit and related actions. 

Various Desha Bukti and Anthara in Vimshothri periods will indicate the

progress, achievements and gains in labor in various stages of life.

 

You will agree that one cannot be expected to be digging as geologist in age 70,

which is traced by an astrologer as ‘pointers’ by combination of Planets in

a birth chart and Desha combinations, whereas he could be a musician with repute

at that age. So effect of these are to be carefully identified before arriving

at the right vocation for a person to  take and recommend as for his livelihood

and at  when in his age

 

I collected in years some of planetary combinations in various charts which had

resulted in their vocation, and I list them below, which could be of interest to

many. This list is not 'ABSOLUTE'.  Since the article will go for several

pages, I am giving only for Sun combinations with other Planets here.

from other favorably ‘positioned planets, the degree of Cusp and so on.  It

is not easy and a ‘cake walk’ for any to exactly define the ‘vocation’

of an individual, though we can gain knowledge of ‘pointers’.
