108 times Devi Mahatmyam

 

Devi Mahatmyam Pooja –

The DevÄ«MÄhÄtmya consists of chapters 81-93 of the MÄrkandeya Purana, one

of the early Sanskrit Puranas, which is a set of stories being related by the

sage Markandeya to Jaimini and his students (who are in the form of birds). The

thirteen chapters of Devi MÄhÄtmya

are divided into three charitas or episodes. At the beginning of each

episode a different presiding goddess is invoked, none of whom is mentioned in

the text itself.

 

On Friday 4th Sept 2009, Shastry from

Saptarishis Astrology Core Team would be starting the recitation of Devi

Mahatmyam accompanied by Shri Parmeshwar Bharati ji, a 88 year old man who is a

great Devi Sadhak.

 

This is in continuation of the previous postings of Sri

Chakra Yagya, so those who registered for the Yagya need not send in their

registration for this Free Pooja.

 

For those who did not can send in their request and can

include names of their friends and families with the following details to

pooja

 

a) Name

b) Birth Details

c) Nakshatra

d) Gotra

e) Problem description in 2-3 lines
