Guest guest
Dear Friends, Astronomical constellations were visible all over world and different societies and civilisations in different eras named them specific to their purpose and requirements, These constellations are strummed all over sky in all directions and these are occupying irregular spaces in the sky. The nomenclature given to these constellations in different eras indicate the mental development of those civilisations in their eras. The Sixth Fundamental catalogue (FK6) PROVIDES THE MOST ACCURATE COORDINATES OF STARS THUS FAR. ACCORDING TO THE IAU RESOLUTION ADOPTED IN 1973, THE ATTEMPT IS THAT THE DIFFERENCE IN CATALOGUE AND DYNAMIC EQUINOXES SHOULD REMAIN LESS THAN O.O4 " . This is one part of the picture. The second part of the picture is that the Nakshatra has its own definition and devised in India specifically for Astrological purposes , These are as under: 1. As MOON takes a round of the earth in 27.3 days , the ecliptic was divided in 27 equal arcs (sectors) of 13deg 20 min each. 2 First Nakshatra commences from a point opposite to Star Chitra (Spica 16),and named as Acvani. As starting point of Acvani is fixed with respect to stars , these 27 Nakshatras are permanently linked with stellar zodiac , In spite of this they are mathematical in nature as each Nakshatra covers an arc of 13deg.20 min.As such word Nakshatra is specific to Indian astrology and put to use for specific purpose and specific manner. 3. There may be some different views on the initial point of Nakshatra Acvini , but in spite of these differences , the initial point is more or less adopted opposite to Star Chitra. 4. One Additional Nakshatra 'Abhijit ' was also introduced but without disturbing thr basic concept and scheme of 27 Nakshatra's. Abhijit is carved out of two Nakshatras. 5The method of use and purpose of both 27 and 28 Nakshatra schemes are different. Even advance student of astrology commit gross mistake in this regard and then raise funny question.Indian Nakshatra 's has specific purpose and connotation and they should not be confused with schemes of constellations use in different civilisations in different eras.. 6. Once 27 Nakshatra scheme was being used extensively, then 12 sidereal zodiac signs were adopted in India linked with these 27 Nakshatras. This also paved the way for constructing the nativity of 12 houses at a later stage.
