Guest guest Posted October 9, 2009 Report Share Posted October 9, 2009 sri ganeshaya namah, dear all, namaste. maharsi parasara in the bphs mentions certains positions from AL to be good or bad for benefics and malefics respectively. what i am trying to figure out is , are these benefic and malefics to be understood as the natural benefics and malefics or grahas as per their dispositions and avasthas to be understood as benefics or malefics? for example , in a given chart AL with exalted saturn. saturn here to be treated as malefic ? or since saturn is exalted , is it to be treated as benefic in nature due to exaltation ? comments please, humbly, chandan s sabarwal. Shani will be good in 1,2 and even 4; but in 10H from AL even exalted is bad. Guest guest Posted October 11, 2009 Report Share Posted October 11, 2009 sri ganeshaya namah. dear rafal, namaste. so are you saying we should also consider graha relation with bhava karaka when judging from AL? for ex , mangal in a great friend sign with more ishta phala , in 10th house from AL. here mangal has dig bala from AL, so should be very good. but since VRA mentions , malefics in kendras to AL are not good for gems for permanent use, here seems to be quite a contradiction. also ,since BPHS explicitly mentions placements in different bhavas from AL, we should see bhava chakra and not rasi chakra , as i understand. humbly, chandan s sabarwal.
