I will definitely advise him regarding the possible ways to him as mentioned by you. Could you please clarify what does it indicate " due to some unexpected turn in the family " ? Does it indicate any addition to his family or addition of his life partner to his family or any member separating from his family or any kind of property division among his brothers or some kind of storm in the family relationship that will make him take a break after the period you mentioned.
