Guest guest
I am still expecting feedback from learned scholars for the following message posted in the group; -------------------- Jai Shri Krishna, I wonder as how should we explain the phenomenon of intercaste, interreligion, interstate and intercontinental marriages to settle the accounts of previous lives? or are we opening the new accounts? This phenomenon has been ever increasing with the effect of globalization; This has also increased the number of divorces and multiple marriages. I will appreciate your feedback on the issues. Thanks, Davendr
Guest guest
Namaste- I am no 'learned scholar' but here is my bit. This may be a combination of both prarabhdha as well as new karma being created. There are people for whom this is fixed by their prarabhdha being very strong and there are people who have some choice in the matter. The soul anyway does not have caste, religion, language. In continues to exist even in between manuvantaras. The vasanas carried over from previous birth may incline us to some other culture even if our prarabhdha leads us to being born in one culture. In this context we can remember with happiness the reassurance that the spiritual pursuit we do is something do take with us and we can continue from one life to another( Bhagavad Gita). In any case, as long as we are not striving to destroy our samskaras and sanchita karma through sadhana, we are still on the cycle of karma and life and death. There is no winning this game of maya- we can only win by resigning from the game with the grace of the paramatman. Guest guest
Resp. Shri Srivatsa ji, Jai Shri Krishna, Thank you very much for your very illuminating response to my message. CHOICES are always there that is how we make changes ( supposed to be within only minimum certain limits ) though every thing is planned/programmed by HIM to act only in certain ways. But my question was for recent drastic changes due to the modern effect of globalization; New cultures and environments force new choices and drastic changes in our behaviour not that they seem to be result of our past karmas. Soul is certainly inactive or unaffected by these changes but Physical Body, the Astral Body and Causal body have tremendous effect for the current and future accounts and balance sheets. May be HE has decided that way for certain reasons. with regards and greetings, Davendra ------\ -------- vedic astrology , " Shyam V Srivatsa " <shyam.srivatsa wrote: > > Namaste- I am no 'learned scholar' but here is my bit. > This may be a combination of both prarabhdha as well as new karma being created.
