BPHS teaches us that lords of 3H, 6H and !!H are functional 'PAPA'. 3H stands for valor and excessive desire for wordly pleasure. 6H represents anger and avarice among other things. 11H represents gains and excessive greed. Lord Krishna tells us in Gita that 'Kama - desire for worldly pleasures ' , ' Krodha- anger ' and 'Lobha - greed ' generate Papa behavior. This is the reason that Parasara says that 11HL is most papi or malefic. If one can control his greedy behavior , 11HL will not harm. When 11HL is associated with Raja-yoga , it is destroyed on account of greed-factor of native. Kindly do not forget that 3H,6H,10H and 11H are called Upachaya places that these houses help in material upliftment of native.
