Guest guest Posted December 11, 2009 Report Share Posted December 11, 2009 Dear Jagawat ji, Thank you very much for your " Chapter " about gemstones in Astrology :-) My question was simple (please see below...!) which you have not even touched upon at all ;-) Internet, books, jyotish kiosks are all full of 'recommendations' about this or that gemstone or that or the other upaaye and remedies. These give the impression that any and all kind of karma can be washed away through gemstones or other tantrik remedies or even through pooja and prayer and so on. While there is some truth in these modalities, most people somehow get or have been given the idea that these act like medication. You have an infection, eat this antibiotic and most times you would get rid of the infection. And the medical 'analogy' is based on feedback and reported and published studies and clinical trials etc. However there are no similar studies or reports available for gemstones and other remedies. People just have to go on faith and 'tall claims' or practitioners who have not revealed or discussed the details of their personal experiences.
