Guest guest
Mr Gendarz RafaŠmust be praised for his gentle response to the " compliments " from Mr Vishal Kohli. Vishal Ji should not use such " compliments " , esp for a person who is serving Vedic Jyotisha. I do not like titles like Guru or Jyotisha Ratna or even PhD & c & C. My late Guru Ji had PhD from London's School of African and Oriental Studies, but never added any title like PhD to his name in any letter & c. Sanatana Dharma's chief objective is attainment of highest state of permanent and pure Consciousness, which is Nirupaadhika, ie without any epithets, titles, degrees & c. Yajurveda says 'He has no image Whose name is Mahat-yasha or Great-fame/glory' ( " Na tasya Pratimaa asti yasya naama mahat-yasha " - White YV, 32-4). Quraan Shareef also starts with same statement : " Al hamdo-lillaha rabba al-aalmeena " ('All praises for the Allah Who is protector of the whole world'). Perhaps Vishal Ji also wanted to convey same feelings, that mortals should not use epithets like Guru and Mahaguru, but his language was too harsh. Vishal Ji forgets that everyone cannot be a sanyaasi, and most of the grihasthas in Kaliyuga are grihastas actually : " combust in (chores of the) house " . Perhaps Mr Gendarz RafaŠdoes not know that using a title like Guru irritates others, which prompted Vishal Ji to use unsavoury " compliments " . Guru is not a mere teacher. Guru teaches the secrets ( " gur " ). Secrets are not taught publicly, but only to the initiates who are fit for such secrets. Vedic Jyotisha cannot be learnt by means of mere bookish knowledge, and Guru is essential for mastering it. There are three skandhas of Jyotisha, and master of all skandhas who also knows the astrological secrets of ancient Tantric Chakras and other tools can be a guru of others, provided God wishes so. I am trustee and secretary of six Sanskrit schools and colleges and founder of a Gurukula, but I hesitate to call myself a Guru of even those who come to me in person for learning Jyotisha. It is the highest degree for a mortal in Sanatana Dharma and must be used cautiously. But now-a-days, many mortals have started declaring themselves to be incarnations of 'Bhagwaan'. My statements here are not against any individual. -VJ ======================== == vedic astrology , Rafał Gendarz <starsuponme wrote: > > /*klim krishna klim*/ > Dear Vishal > > I'm happy you are enthusiastic about my site. Guest guest
/*klim krishna klim*/ Dear VJ, I would never call myself Guru independently as its just pity. The title is there due to reasons of spreading and praising tradition from which I hail. There are many social etiquettes for different reasons. I consider myself a sisya of course as the journey through the ocean of Jyotisha last few lifetimes. There are two types of Guru's; one is related to enlightening about final goal of life (sometimes called Diksha Guru) and one who helps indirectly (sikha Guru) as Jyotisha can be both para or apara (citing Agni Purana first slokas of first Chapter) teacher. I have never considered myself as person who can be Guru in the solely spiritual matters - I'm not quallified for that. From the other side my Guru's decided to give me that title and advised to use it for the sake of helping people with the light of Jyotisha-Vidya. So there is useful vs. vain usage of the titles. Jyotisha Guru should be judged based on qualification given in Brhat Samhita, whilst Spiritual Guru should be judged based on qualities mentioned in the Shrimad Bhagavatam and other such spiritual śastra. Order of life (like vanaprasthana, sannyasa etc) can be taken into account for the second group, not for the former one. I'm aware that many bad-wishers will try to block the parampara from it's rise and its very natural and those people were always there and will be in the history. From my side I try to abstain from these kind of useless quarrels about titles and will try to serve the society in best way I can taking the name of Vishnu as my Kavacha. Guest guest
:-) and SIGH!! Vinay-jee! All is " fair " in learning and 'growing'--UP! We are born as infants, crying our little hearts out as we try to master our abilities to 'roll over', sit up and even before that to hold our neck up! Then we learn to stand upright, then walk causing such universal excitement! Universal, because at that moment of the 'first walk', our Universe -- hopefully our DOTING parents were watching and clapping and encouraging us along! At some point comes the tricycle -- which later on becomes a cause for embarassment and our father has to remove the training wheels or get us a two wheel bike. Then a motor gets added, then a bigger engine and we are back to not two but FOUR WHEELS! Some of us drive trains and it has so many wheels -- but a few fly and then we are back to a vehicle with the very same THREE wheels we started out with, but this time the WINGS got added! Where I am going with this monologue is: To each his own, Sir! There will always be the need for kindergarten teachers, elementary school teachers, high school teachers, then University Professors and on and on! As the GURUS -- all being ESSENTIAL -- continue to change! To SUIT our growth and GROWTH-NEEDS! As in Human experience, so in astrology and even spiritual growth! All being part of Human Experience! Perhaps Mr Gendarz RafaÅ does not know that using a title like Guru irritates others, which prompted Vishal Ji to use unsavoury " compliments " . -VJ ============ ========= === == vedic astrology, RafaÅ‚ Gendarz <starsuponme@ ...> wrote: > > /*klim krishna klim*/ > Dear Vishal > > I'm happy you are enthusiastic about my site. Guest guest
Mr Vishal, Sense is mistook as nonsense by those who lack proper faculties to comprehend it. I have already left five groups and instead of wasting my time in an abusive war with persons like you, it will be good for me to leave this group too : this is what you want. There was a time when shaastraartha was held among scholars. It is possible even now. Internet is free for abusers. I do not know what is your worth and contribution to Jyotisha, excepting abusing others without any provocation. There are some astrologers in internet groups, and some pseudo-astrologers who are jealous of others and pat themselves by abusing others. I know where to put my works. -VJ ===================== === vedic astrology , Vishal Kohli <vkohli38 wrote: > > How many times you will write same non sense > > This time why you didnt not write about SS for Brahmacharis > > Its really nice to see that SS can predict highly volatile sensex, only you are the best chap to prove it and all others dont know > > > > > ________________________________ > VJha vinayjhaa16 > vedic astrology > Wed, December 16, 2009 9:53:48 PM > [vedic astrology] Re: To - BUDDY Rafalji > >  > Mr Gendarz RafaÅ must be praised for his gentle response to the > " compliments " from Mr Vishal Kohli. Guest guest
Rafal Ji, You are absolutely right. Now, Mr Vishal Kohli has started targeting me for his " compliments " just because I praised your gentleness. Let us forget such " compliments " and work along the path shown by our Gurus. Our paths may be different, but the goal is common. -VJ ====================== ==== vedic astrology , Rafał Gendarz <starsuponme wrote: > > /*klim krishna klim*/ > Dear VJ, > > I would never call myself Guru independently as its just pity. Guest guest
You said it, Vinay_jee! The most important word in your message was " people " ! Now that cyberreality has had web-robots and spiders and other gizmos and gadgets similar for decades ...! I just wish these extremely intelligent programmers could somehow be invited to donate their programming prowess to serve Jyotish through creating a perfect software, for starters. If wishes were meaningful, we all would be talking to Angels! Guest guest
Rohini Da, A perfect Jyotisha software cannot be created by a programmer alone, it needs a perfect Jyotishi too. But a perfect Jyotishi will never need any computer at all, and he(/she) will prefer to teach his non-mechanical Vedic method to others instead of increasing their their reliance on machines. The corollary is that a perfect Jyotisha program can never be created. The utmost perfection we can hope for is about accuracy of astrologically relevant mathematics. Computers can only compute, and that is all. It can never become a Jyotishi. Any function which can be reduced to computing ones and zeroes can be programmed. But Jyotisha involves more than this binary logic. It calls for parallel processing of scores of charts and comparing their results with respect to dozens of dashaas for getting the final results on the basis of dynamically shifting Balas. I want a similar program, but I know it is a superhuman task. Please mmind the term " dynamically shifting Balas " . Herein lies the magical secret of Jyotisha. A Jyotishi must know when to give weight to which chart and correlate it with appropriate dashaa. Can you outline the phalita-algorithm of such a program ? If you can, I will translate it into appropriate program. At present, my time is being divided among so many tasks that I cannot properly concentrate on these cardinal problems of Phalita Jyotisha. But I am progressing. I will leave this planet in 2045 AD, and I hope I will improve my software a lot much before that. -VJ ================== == vedic astrology , " rohinicrystal " <jyotish_vani wrote: > > You said it, Vinay_jee! > > Rohiniranjan > > > > > vedic astrology , " VJha " vinayjhaa16@ wrote: > > > > Rohini Da, > > > > <<< All is " fair " in learning and 'growing'--UP!>>> > > > > A double entendre ?
