If yes then a house may fall in two rasis. Which planet will be the lot of the house when the house falls in two rasis. Narotham Reddy Thanks in advance. Dear Narotham Reddy, The 1st House starts from the exact moment of our births. So, at that moment, your Rising Sign or 1st House might be at the 15th degree of Taurus, or it might be at the 5th degree or the 28th degree. The " House " system of Jyotish creates a first house of 30 degrees if you're within the 30 degrees of Taurus. Then, your 2nd house will be the 30degrees of Gemini, 3rd house, the 30 degrees of Cancer etc. In my previous email I was trying to make the point that the literal, actual segments of the sky, are the different Houses. It's very visceral or organic. Hope this helps.... Sincerely, Mark Kincaid PS: When you watch the Transits of the Stars, the planets and Sun will be in the various 'segments' of the sky, and those segmnts ARE the different Houses. Later we can discuss the difference between the 'House' system of the houses and something called the Bhava system which creates a different House system depending upon whether you're born in the beginning or end, especially, of a sign. www..com <http://www..com> markkincaid
