To answer the question if job or business would be more appropriate for

 

the person we should analyse the following:

 

*Arudha Lagna*

 

Influence on Arudha lagna of Shatrupada (A6) will indicate blessings for

 

service in the form of support, luck and availability. On the other hand

 

Darapada will indicate business, self-employment and the likes. Yuti of

 

Arudha lagna and Darapada forms Srimanth yoga which also is partially

 

Dhana yoga besides giving blessings of Sri. Otherwise Kendra / Kona,

 

3/11 relation between those Arudhas will indicate if there is more

 

support for business or job.

 

 

 

If the Arudha distance is unfavourable like dusthana, then next step is

 

to judge the lords of Arudha lagna and Darapada or Shatrupada for

 

business and job respectively - if they are again badly placed then the

 

type of profession indicated by the Arudha will not bring success.

 

 

 

In your case altough Arudhalagna and Darapada lords are in yuti which is

 

favourable for business, they are in sixth house with strong Shani.

 

 

 

*Hora Lagna - Dhana-da*

 

This shows wealth, resources and sustainence of the native and indicates

 

Vishnu-rupa. Kendra to Hora Lagna shows supporting activity for

 

sustanence and based on that Hora Lagna in Kendra to seventh house will

 

bring business favour, whlst Hora Lagna in Apoklima (kendra to sixth

 

house) is good for job.

 

 

 

In your case Hora Lagna is in sixth house promoting job in corporation.

 

 

 

*Dasamsa*

 

/Sixth/seventh house/

 

Strong and auspicious planets in sixth house will drive one towards job

 

due to opportunities and circumstances, seventh house being stronger

 

indicate business. If these are empty we should see the strength of the

 

lords and its relationship with the Lagna/Lagnesh as that will show what

 

is more comfortable from the perspective of native. Nica grahas or

 

malefics in the sixth house will give more fortune in business, same for

 

the seventh house when it comes to job.

 

 

 

For Meena Dasamsa Lagna. sixth lord is in Lagna, whilst seventh lord is

 

with Shani, sixth lord is also in better position from Lagnesh. There

 

will be however strong temptation for business as Moon is in seventh house.

 

 

 

/Eigth house/

 

Malefic or inauspicious grahas related to eight house marks unfavourable

 

situation for business as the loans taken may not be paid off or there

 

can be other financial problems. If the eigth house is inauspicious in

 

the chart then we should not advise business as this will lead to failure.

 

 

 

In your case rahu being in eigth house is big 'no' for business.

 

 

 

/Shani/Budha/

 

Shani is the main karaka for the sixth house according to parampara,

 

whilst Budha is karaka for the seventh house; its strength in Dasamsa

 

chart is vital for the decision job vs business. Stronger planet among

 

these two in Dasamsa will be one of the most important factors.

 

 

 

In your case both are in enemy sign.

 

 

 

/Lagnesh/

 

Lagnesh in fifth house promotes job, Lagnesh in the ninth house promotes

 

business. Any connection of Lagnesh to seventh house or its lord, or

 

seventh house/lord to Lagna promotes business. Similarly we should judge

 

for the sixth house.

 

 

 

In your case lagnesh supports job and especially office or indoor job types.

 

 

 

/Dasa/

 

Even if the chart promotes job or business actual Dasa running in the

 

chart of the native can alter the type of earning during the Dasa

 

period, so this should be also analysed before advising.

 

 

 

Current Dasa is of Moon and being in seventh house will suppport

 

business till 2016. Also Shastihayani from 2009 to 2015 is of Moon.

 

 

 

Whilst *timing getting new job*, first Rasi Chart should be analysed to

 

grasp general availability and situation followed by the Dasamsa

 

analysis in which we get clearer picture of work-surrounding.

 

General rule for Vimshottari is that Mahadasa should have argala to the

 

forth house from Surya in Dasamsa to give job availability. Mahadasa

 

graha should be connected to Lagna / Lagnesh through argala or yoga.

 

Antardasa graha should have yoga with the fifth lord or unobstructed

 

argala to it, whilst Pratyantardasa graha (Vidasha) should have yuti or

 

drsti on fifth lord. These grahas should be also well-placed from

 

Lagnesh (especially Mahadasa graha is judged both from Lagnesh, Surya

 

and Atmakaraka), otherwise due to uncomfortable situation one will not

 

reach or reject the opportunity.

 

 

 

Based on the Meena Lagna general support is for job, but till 2015/2016

 

it will become quite difficult as the Dasa supports more of business

 

related to Moon like medicines, clothes, publication, water related

 

articles and so on. If the Meena Lagna is correct in Dasamsa then

 

current Dasa of Jupiter aspects second lord Mars which is good time to

 

start new business. However be very careful with taking big loans as

 

this may turn unfavourable and you may experience big losses and lot of

 

enmity due to this - Ma and Ve in Aquarius sign.
