Guest guest
Dear Sundeep, Someone forwarded your mail to me. As you said, there is a close conjunction of lagna lord and 9th lord and it is possible to meet guru. The 8th lord Moon has a close aspect on lagna and it is possible to have a mystical experience. Let us just check the natal chart. Venus-Saturn antardasa is running. Venus is the 9th lord from lagna in D-20. Saturn is lagna lord in 7th house and aspecting 9th. Thus, coming of some spiritual guidance is quite possible in this period. In the annual TP chart, Mercury is in own sign in the 7th house, conjoined by the 9th lord Sun and the 12th lord Ketu. Mercury dasa is running now. An event related to spiritual progress, interaction with guru and guidance is possible. Let us use my recently shared researches. Mercury is the 8th lord in your natal rasi and D-20. The progressed Mercury at the time of the event, using the Vimsottari dasa progression defined in my research article, was at 1Le27. This corresponds to 25Sg44 in D-20. Rahu was at 26Sg11 at the time of the event. He conjoins progressed Mercury (8th lord) of D-20 within half a minute. This is conducive to an important spiritual experience. A8 in your natal chart is at 4Cp50 and A5 in your natal chart is at 4Ar50. Both correspond to 6Cn44 in D-20. Mars, who conjoins 8th lord Mercury in natal D-20 and aspects the 8th house, was transiting around 7Cn42. This close conjunction in transit with the natal padamsas (A5 and A8 in D-20) can trigger related events. * * * My view is that this is a genuine and important event for directing your spiritual progress. However, regarding exactly what it means and what you need to do about it now, your guess is as good as mine. I am not sure if astrology as we know is good enough to bring any clarity. * * * I will share what my gut tells, for what it is worth. Please ignore if it makes no sense. Saint Sri Vallabha was a contemporary of Chaitanya Mahaprabhu and a great Vaishnava saint. He taught a variation of Adwaita philosophy, which he called " Suddha-Adwaita " (pure non-dualism). His take on the essence of Upanishads and Brahma Sutras is still non-dualism, but it is different from what we find in Shankaracharya's Adwaita and Ramanujacharya's Visishta Adwaita. Your chart reveals a very capable philosopher and I have seen that in your writings in the past too. Perhaps your raw talent is in need of a direction to hone your thinking and bring absolute clarity and perhaps a guru from a previous life is guiding you to solve the paradoxes and riddles that your logical mind faces as you are trying to grasp the Upanishadic philosophy. Perhaps you are being guided to read and understand the philosophy taught by Sri Vallabha. A book called " Siddhanta Rahasya " written by him in Sanskrit is perhaps an important book that can shape your thinking. * * * BTW, I still owe you a reply regarding your nice questions on nirvikalpa samadhi on . Though I can speak with conviction on some experiences within duality, unfortunately I cannot speak with conviction on nirvikalpa samadhi, for I am speaking only based on a theoretical understanding. Thus, my thoughts may or may not be that useful. Still I will try to reply sometime. I was actually given a mantra by someone who explicitly said that he was my Guru, but I have no idea who he is. He whispered a mantra in my ear, and later I followed him to some place where perhaps some pooja had already been done (only the ashes of the fire remained). In waking state, I have tried very hard to remember the words of the mantra, the only things I can recollect for sure are " Sri Vallabh " and " rahasyo " and am unsure of " bhava " and " ratna " . > > I tried to use the dream time to see what the meaning is, but I'm not good at this. I do see Moon aspecting the ascendant (and Sun conjunct the Lagna lord). Also, 3rd house (Guru upadesa) has Jupiter, Sun (9L) and Venus. > > Can anyone give me interpretation pointers? I must add that I had no idea of " Sri Vallabh " until I had the dream. Now I see (google) that he is supposed to be an incarnation of Dattatreya, but astrologically I dont see how this is significant. I have never chanted nor heard any " Sri Vallabh " related mantra in my life. > > Dream time: Feb 24, 2010, San Jose, California, USA, 121W53, 37N20, 8hrs West of GMT, 03:51am.
