Here is the number of verses in both variants of Lomasha Samhita

publicly available ( 'SA' stands for saparshiastrology version, while

GSS stands for the book containing Hindi translation published by Dr

Girija Shankar Shastri):

Chapters SA GSS

1 29 29

2 23 23

3 47 47

4 36 36

5 52 52

6 113 124

7 51 52

8 35 36

9 167 104

10 51 75

11 0 51

12 0 60

TOTAL 604 689

As Dr G S Shastri told me, some verses are obscure which needed the

help of an expert Pt Kishor Nath Jha who is a living encyclopaedia of

ancient Sanskrit manuscripts and published works. Dr G S Shastri has

also translated Vashishtha Samhita (published in 2006 AD).
