Business vs Profession

How do we find difference in a chart that one would be in ‘Business’ or

‘Profession’ from a birth chart?  Shanmugam, Pondy, India.

 

‘Business’ is toned with speculation in income, constant involvement,

tracking of progress, building up of customers’ patronizing, servicing without

loss, anticipations with firm results, picking right person for right job and so

on.  It requires constant vigil.

 

‘Profession’ is a commitment to perform in the expected assignment for an

income, which could be constant in a period. Involvement of one in

responsibilities varies while this could be passed on for a collective

execution.  Profession would price the occupation, execution, performance, and

wait for an appreciation which could be relative to the merit of results, still

not transformed to the expected financial gain.

 

In business, ‘honesty’ and ‘dishonesty’ divides the time and profit

inversely progressed.

Plurality brings temptations, ill-administration, and corruption for quick

gains, missing the value of commitment to a sane progress. Usually Saturn,

Mercury and a dual sign causes such plurality of income in business. Sun in 7th

shows steady business with virtues and principles without fluctuations.  Moon

in 7th indicates change of business motives to become unsteady. Mars makes one

to take impulsive decisions for gain or loss, skid to indiscreet and rash

action. Mercury in 7th House is healthy to get speedy turnover and larger

profit. Jupiter in 7th house makes one stay in business for long without much

fluctuation in returns, while improves the business in time and after, expands,

and thrives to satisfaction for a long time. Venus in 7th house, marks many

times with luck while walk on a razors edge without throwing weight on either

side. Saturn in 7th is a good indicator to be called one unfit for business and

early closer of involvement with loss.

 

In Profession, one progress steadily if the 10th house is in a fiery sign, as

ingenious, active, bold and succeed in ventures. If that house is in airy sign,

he could become a literary expert, adviser, agent, artist, or a publisher. In a

watery sign being 10th house from Lagna, he should be a wanderer, sailor,

involved in travel trade, shipping, and committed in overseas.  Earthy sign

being 10th house from Lagna will trade in building, mining, and business,

agriculture, excavating, or gardening. Movable signs give ability in profession.

Fixed sign makes one industrious. The Common sign makes him a broker, and

involved in public services and commodities.  These are based on the position

of 10th house from Lagna.  Saturn never gives courage to express talents.

Mercury is favorable to bring praise and appreciation. Venus puts one to satisfy

others with the lighter side of talents like music and innovations. Rahu helps

to consolidate with energy to bare

the load of work with unequal earning. Ketu makes one serve all life without

being appreciated while he will not react to respect his abilities.  Moon makes

one depend on others and shift his convictions to become victim of advices.

Jupiter contributes for progress and appreciation from others on one’s

execution of his avocation while the resultant gains are slow and not helpful

for purposes.

 

I listed above a broad spectrum which has to be very carefully pronounced from

reading a chart, taking many other axioms in Astrology.
