selection of gems on the basis of AL

Dear Respected Member, Namaskar,

Is it advisable to recommend gems for functional benefics on the basis of

planetary disposition from AL even if the planet in question is badhak or

malefic from rasi/Lagna. 

 

For example, I have Ju in Leo which is 5th house from AL/Ar.  Now benefics in

5th house from AL is very good to promote one's career. Now this Jupiter is

badhak wrt my rasi/lagna Ge. Is it ok to boost Ju by gem or mantra. Similarly,

planet in 9th house from AL protects one image.  Now I have Sun which is a

natural malefic. How does Ruby or Surya mantra will help me.

 

I am posing this as a general question keeping my horoscope as an ready

reference.
