Reg Vinayakar with Shanku and Chakram

Namaskarams,

A couple of editions before in Sri Nrisimha Priya, there was a suggestion that

we can worship and visit Lord Vinayaka temples on the pre-condition that the

Vinayaka is having Shanku and Chakram unlike the normal Vinayaka in Saivite

temples. I guess, this is roughly equivalent to what we call as Viswaksena.

Does somebody have any photographs on a Vinayaka with Shanku and Chakram? Any

more details if somebody has and if they could share with others, it would be

really helpful.

Sri: Dear Members, VISWAKSENAR is the commander-in-chief in PARAMARADHAM or SRIVAIKUNDAM and there is an assistant to him with an elephant face and is called GAJANANAR AND gajananars statue is installed in some PERUMAL TEMPLES[only in a KAMBAM or thoon] and this is what SRINRISIMHAPRIYA says in its latest issue[sept 2007--page 76] and it clearly mentions that VINAYAGARS PRATHISTAI IS WRONG IN PERUMAL TEPMPLES. Dear members,

Even before starting Vishnu Sahasranamam, we are chanting sukhlambaradaram vishnum ............. and then only we are proceeding. So gajananar is an god who is guiding us to finish any work we start with out any obstacle. So it is a also a fact that we believe in Lord Ganesha and we start any work(Sandhiayavandahanam, etc ).

So the worship of lord is to their own trust and enroute to attain divine moksha and not for this kind of mis understandings.

We are all blessed children's of one person namely GOD.

Let us all be united and save Hinduism and Brahmanism.

If this mail hurts anybody it is unintentional and if anything is wrong in this am ready to learn and correct that.

Dear Members This sloka refers to Maha Vishnu in the form of Vigneaswara / Vigneswara in the form of Maha Vishnu. Both are Kala swarupas and hence there cannot be any argument that this Sloka is for one or the other. It is for both. Let us all be united as Indians / Hindus / Brahmins.
