Sathyanarayana Vratham contains lots of rituals and

also there are five stories to be recited every time

you perform. At the end of every story, you need to

perform Aarathi, etc., The prasaadam " SAJJIGE " (nearer

to SOJJI) is to be prepared in a particular way. It

is a long process. There are books available - if in

Bangalore there are number of places - may be even

with the foot path book vendors - the book is

available. At Chennai, you may pl check up with LIFCO

or GIRI Trading Co. near Mylapore KAPALISHWARA temple.

A good Maadhva priest performs well this Vratham as I

know & experienced. This is a powerfull Vratham, sure

of GOOD results. It is better to do this Vratham thro

a PRIEST for the first time.

Respected Members Satyanarayana Pooja can be performed with the help of books at home in the best possible manner - pooja, stories, prasadams - everything you can do your self. Normally Purnima is best for performing Satyanarayana pooja. Priest can be engaged when Satyanarayana pooja is performed during Grahapravesh, after marrige or any auspicious function.
