Dear Devotees :

Srimathy Jyothirmayee Kidambi has created

with Bhagavaan Narasimhan's blessings

a TuLasi Vanam for the ArchA Moorthys

of SingaraayakoNDaa Temple in Andhra Pradesh

and planted thousands of TuLasi Plants

( KrishNa and Sukla TuLasis: One with dark green

and the other with regular green leaves ) .

The TuLasi leaves are used for archanai and

Garlands for Sri Nrusimha PerumAL at

this Nrusimha KshEthram .

During the first year's prunig of this big

TuLasi Vanam , she has accumulated

huge amount of clippings from the branches

for helping the plants grow well in future .

TuLasi is sacred for us and therefore , it can

not be burnt . These pruned material ( a cart load

as Jyothirmayee describes ) have to be disposed of

properly ( buried in ground as fertilizers

or placed in flowing water ) or recycled in the form

of beads for TuLasi Maala .

May I request anyone who is knowledgable about

carving the TuLasi Beads contact Dr. Jyothirmayee

Kidambi and breif her on the procedure ?

Many Thanks ,

V.Sadagopan
