During those Garuda Sevais , Garuda BhagavAn saluted as Veda Purusha carries the Lord on His back and holds the Lord's Thiruvadis ( Essence of Vedams) on His palms and displays them to us and reminds us that those sacred feet of His Lord is the ever present protection for us . The Vaibhavam of Garudan has been celebrated by Swamy Desikan in His two SrI Sookthis : 1.Garuda DaNDakam : 10th ebook (http://www.sundarasimham.org ) 2. Garuda PanchAsath : 65th ebook (http://www.ahobilavalli.org ) Earlier in the year , we had the bhagyam of enjoying the "Twelve" Garuda Sevais at ThirunAngUr Dhivya dEsams and Thirumangai Mannan's MangaLAsAsanam , Manjal KuLIcchal and other releated uthsavams . In a few days , we will have the bhAgyam of witnessing the 12 dhivya Garuda sevai of Thirukkudanathai based EmperumAns at Big Street , KumbakONam . Pandal full of PerumALs from AarAvamudhan , ChakrapANI , Raamar , VarAha PerumAL to others in and around Thirukkudanathai on Akshaya Trutheeyai ( May 8, 2008) . On May 26 , 2008 , there will be a not well known but equally eye filling Garuda Sevai of 22 archA Moorthys from the dhivya dEsam of VeNNARRangarai ( Three Sannidhis celebrated by Thirumangai Mannan ) at Tanjore . As a seat of Maratta Kings , the Cauvery delta area has contributed so very much to Carnatic Music ( The Musical Trinity ) and temple culture . Local kings and Merchants have built manyTemples for Sriman NarayaNa . Twenty two of them will bless the devotees on May 26 with Thirumangai Mannan seated on Hamsa Vaahanam as ParAnkusa Nayaki .
