Vijay TV presents Bhakthi – the spiritual fest

June 16, 17 and 18, 2008 in Chennai

 

" Bhakthi " is the only way to gain true knowledge of God and the surest

way to reach Him. To gain this knowledge, Vijay TV is proud to engage

the audience in a 3 day spiritual fest at Naradha Gana Sabha from June

16, 17 and 18. Noted spiritual speakers will speak on various topics

which is sure to invoke the Lord's blessings and enlighten the audiences.

 

 

This spiritual festival will be inaugurated by none other than one of

the great spiritual leaders of our time 'Poojya Shri Dayananda

Saraswathi Swamigal' on June 16, 2008.Selaiyur P.V.Shanmugam along

with P.V.Raguram and troupe will provide the Mangala Isai of Naadhaswaram.

 

 

Commencing June 16th , Kalaimamani Kalyanapuram Thiru.

Aramuthaasiriyar talks about the story of the Narasimha avatar of the

Lord in which he killed Iraniyan Kisabu in the topic titled 'Bhaktha

Pragalatha'. Following this, Magaarnavam Sri Sri Muralidhara Swamiji

speaks on some of the noted followers of Lord Shiva like

Kannapanayanar, Manickavasagar in the topic 'Perumaimikka

Sivanadiyar'. 'Udayur Kalyanaraman' performs the 'namasangeerthanam'

on the first day of the spiritual fest.

 

 

 

Sri.Oo.Ve.V.S.Karunakarachariyar Swamigal will speak on " Kuravai

Koothu " the rasleela of Lord Krishna. Following him Perasiriyai

Dr.Tmt.Saraswathi Ramanthan, an ardent follower of spirituality speaks

on the topic " Mangayarum Saivamum " ; the priority of women in the

Periya Puranam. Dr.Ganesh performs the 'namasangeerthanam' on June 17th.

 

 

 

The discourse on the third day begins with a talk by Kalaimamani Nagai

Mugunthan where he explains the various hymns written by

" Abhiramapattar " in praise of the Goddess Abhirami and also about the

life of Abhiramapattar titled 'Abirami Anthadhi'. Following this will

be the topic 'Azhvaargal Kaatum Aanmigam' in which

Sri.O.Ve.Ananthapadmanbacharyaar speaks about the contributions and

stories of the 12 Azhvaargal and their devotion to Lord Vishnu.

Kalyani Margabhandu will perform the 'namasangeerthanam'.

 

 

 

Special prasadams from popular temples like Parthasarathy Temple,

Triplicane and Nanda Lala Seva Samidhi has also been arranged for the

audience on all days of the spiritual fest. The 3 day spiritual fest

will start at 6:00pm on all days from June 16 onwards at Narada Gana

Sabha, T.T.K.Road, Chennai. The tickets are available free of cost and
