Travel to Ahobilam during the 2008 ChAthurmAsyam Season

Dear SishyAs & Nrisimha BhakthAs ,

who might travel to Ahobilam

during the upcoming ChAthurmAsyam

( July 18- Sep 15 ,2008) :

 

1) From Chennai : go to Cuddapah by Train .

Take a bus to Allagadda ( 64 km away); from

Allagadda take another bus to Ahobilam , which

is 32 km away .

 

2) From Mumbai: Alight at Dhone Railway Station .

Proceed by bus to Ahobilam via Banganapalli and

Koilkuntla . Alternatively , You can go from Dhone

to Nandyal by Train , and catch a bus to Ahobilam

via Allagadda .

 

3) Those who come from Delhi would have to come to

Dhone Railway Station via Hyderabad and proceed from there

to Ahobilam .

 

4) Those who come from Calcutta , alight at Vijayawada ,

take a train to Nandyal and from there proceed to Ahobilam .

 

Natives of Andhra Pradesh and Frequent Travellers

are requested to suggest alternate routes as well as

approaches from Thirumala/Thiruppathi or Hyderabad

by Auto and the time it would take to travel from

these places to Ahobilam .
