Sri KrshNA's worship

The Lord who is worshipped by all did not know how to worship. Not experienced in seeking alms He sought from mAvali three steps of land 'கொளà¯à®µà®©à¯ நான௠மாவலி' 3-8-9 of திரà¯à®µà®¾à®¯à¯à®®à¯Šà®´à®¿;

'I will take three steps from you mAvali'.This is a Command in place of appeal.

Similarly, the Lord did not have previous experince in worhsipping and chanted some sthOthram.

SivaperumAn sought Sri KrhsnA's boon that Sri krhsnA should seek a boon from Him. Sri krshNA sought boon for child for Rukminip pirATTi.

The commentator excellently gives a piece from Hari-Vamsam as the words chanted by Sri KrshNA

Of course, it is another matter that SivaperumAn responded that 'LO! What a cheat? The One who is having all the worlds as His creation is seeking boon for begetting a child.

Not only this rarest of rare incident is narrated in the commenatary but the apposite piece of chant from

Hari-Vamsam strengthens the vyAkyanam and also gives us more and more information and education.

This funny piece from Hari vamsam reference is excellentand appropriate one,nhagain from NampiLLai Edu.

After entering the forest, sri lakshmaNA, in a great desire to do kainkaryam toperumAL, held in one hand the Royal umbrella.e veN koRRak kodai and on theother hand held sAmaram, indicating the eagerness and the manner in which heperformed the kainkaryam. In absence of bharadhAzhwAn, with an intention to doall the kainkaryam iLaya perumAL, did these two kainkaryams simultaneously.The commentary should have ended here.However, balance commentary s portion is reproduced hereunder.The above event is not in Sri rAmAyaNam.Does not the rAmAyaNa slokam ' chathra sAmara pANisthu lakshmaNOnuja kAmaha"

चथà¥à¤° सामर पाणीसà¥à¤¥à¥ लकà¥à¤¶à¥à¤®à¤£à¥Šà¤£à¥‚जआ कामह:refer to the above episode.NO. As the above slokam is in ayOdhyA kAndam, when perumAl leaves hisandhappuram to King dhasarathAs palace, sri lakshmaNA does thesekainkaryams,this slokam does not fit in here, as this episode refers to theevent in the forest.Then, how did Sri Pillai LokAcharya refer to this event ?He has referred this as per pAdma purANam.According to pAdma purANam, uthara kANdam, 49th chapter the slokam commences 'atha thasmin thithE puNyE ...and after elaborately explaining the events 'chatrancha sAmaram dhivyam thrithavAn lakshmaNas thathA' which precisely refers

’अहà¥à¤¤à¤¾ थसà¥à¤®à¤¿à¤¨à¥ थिहà¥à¤¤à¥† पà¥à¤£à¥à¥Ÿà¥†

चथà¥à¤°à¤¨à¥à¤š सामरमॠधिचà¥à¤µà¥à¤¯à¤®à¥ तà¥à¤¥à¥à¤°à¤¿à¤¥à¤µà¤¾à¤¨à¥ लकà¥à¤¶à¥à¤®à¤£à¤¸à¥ थथा:to the aforementioned event.

It is his greatness to a. point that this is not in rAmAyaNam b. Refer to arAmAyana slokam which is similar to the event and reject it logically and c.Identify the correct slokam from pAdma purANam to coherently place it to themeaning of the sOthram and the chapter the sOthram belongs to.

The references and quotes thus not only strengthens the credibility but throw up finer points, justify, reason and make us understand in the right perspective.
