It was seen that AzhwAr had stressed about the nature of the Lord -iRai nilai - in four padhigam-s. What are these four padhigam-s.

 

i. vuyar: The first padhigam of thiru voi mozhi " vuyarvaRa vuyar nalam vudayavan yavan avan,

mayarvaRa mathi nalam aruLinan yavan avan,

ayarvaRum amarargaL adhipathi yavan avan,

thuyar aRu sudar adi thozhudhEzhen mananE"

 

’வà¯à®¯à®°à¯à®µà®± வà¯à®¯à®°à¯ நலம௠உடையவன௠யவன௠அவனà¯â€™ 1-1-1- of திரà¯à®µà®¾à®¯à¯à®®à¯Šà®´à®¿.

 

In these ten pAsuram-s the Lord' supremacy is narrated based on the sruthi-smrithi and related aspects.

 

2. thiN: In the padhigam "thiNnan vEdu"-திணà¯à®£à®©à¯ வீட௠2-2 of thiru voi mozhi the Lord's supremacy is established through His incarnations and the narrations through epics and purANAs - avathArathil parathvamà¯-அவà¯à®¤à®¾à®°à®¤à¯à®¤à®¿à®²à¯ பரதà¯à®µà®®à¯

 

3. aNai: In the padhigam -"aNaivadhu aravaNai mEal"-அணைவà¯à®¤à¯ அரவà¯à®£à¯ˆ மேல௠thiru voi mozhi 2-8 the Lord' supremacy is explained vis-a-vis His nature of granting salvation.

 

4.onRu: In the thiru voi mozhi " onRum dhEvum" 4-10, the Lord' supremacy is elaborately preached with respect to the Lord's position of archAvathAram .

 

Thus, the aformentioned four thiru voi mozhi-s are dedicated to elaborate on the Lord's para-swarUpam. iRai nilai.
