Future celebrations can be thought of conducting of bhajans and distribution of food and clothing to the poor. Idols made of turmeric can be worshipped at home and dissolved in a vessel and sprinkled on plants. He is Iyer. Imme diatly he told, ' You are Iyangar and not worshipping Vinayagar. Then why you are interfering this matter. We will do anything to our Vinayagar. So, keep quit'. I stunned. Then I left his friendship. This matter to be sent HH Snakaracharya Swamygal and we can seek his view. If he agree with us we can ask him to advise all devotees to avoid this type of big idol. Only a hand full of people who believe in the right conduct of the Puja for Lord Ganesh follow the procedure. Will this help bring about a right sense if the print out of these pictures are put up in leading magazine. ? It is because of our attitude like these we have become a mockery to other religion. Can any one imagine such activities from other religion. We only end up with a thought that we are the most tolerant people in the world. Except for the visarjan all the other activities are done with the utmost bhakti.
